Wireless Phone Voice Mail Setting

In general, voice mail settings for wireless phones (as for land lines) are set in the voice mail administrative system and not on the phone's settings. For some unknown reasons, many wireless voice mail set ups default to not tell you the date and time a voice mail message was left. As a result, voice mails when the phone are off will show as the date/time the phone was next turned on. If you want to know the actual date/time of when voice mails were left when the phone was off, go into the administrative voice mail settings and you will easily find the option to do just that. PS: Your carrier's tech people likely do not know this so do not believe them if they tell you that there is no way to know the actual date/time of voice mails left when the phone is off.
