An earlier post talked about the growing availability and enormous savings one gets by buying glasses online. The head of our Vision Products Department (VPD) just received his first pair, and could not be happier with the result. His savings measured in the hundreds of dollars over the brick-and-mortar retail source he had been using, and the glasses have drawn rave compliments. Just two words of caution: (i) Unless the online site makes a mistake, there is no right of return; and (ii) our VPD head has had to pay for one private counseling session to assuage his guilt for not patronizing a local store he likes very much, and he has joined a follow-up support group of others experiencing the same guilt.
