Amazon Prime Music Explained

Amazon Prime Music has a humongous selection of free music. You can stream any of it to your computer with one click or to your phone and you can download it to your phone but all the steps to do so are not obvious. When you find a song or album or whatever that you want to hear through your phone, do the following:

1. Click on Listen Now.

2. Click on Pause.

3. Click on +Add to My Music.

4. The selection will now appear in your Cloud Library and you can see it on your phone in your Amazon Prime Music App (assuming you installed the app).

5. Now, you can stream it to your phone through wi-fi or your data connection, but wait, you have another choice: Click on the three vertical dots next to selection on your phone and click on Download. The first time you do this the App will ask you if you want to download it to your Micro SD card if you have one installed and to default to there for the future, to which you should say yes.

6. Here's the one last tricky part: Even though the selection is in your phone's memory, you won't be able to play it without first connecting the internet which will allow your phone to sync to your Cloud Library. As soon as that is done, which takes a few seconds, you can turn off your wi-fi and data connection and listen to your heart's content.
