As noted in an earlier post, Mad Dogs was recommended by one our roving film critics who freelances in our Movie and Arts Department (MAD). We just watched the first episode, which he had said was "disturbing." It's surely not consoling or placating, and it's strange, but "disturbing" leads us to wonder about his analytic and aesthetic sensitivities. That said, it's sure intriguing, and worth going on to subsequent episodes. If you ever wanted a house in Belize, this is for you; at the same time, if you ever wanted not a house in Belize, this is for you.
