First, and most important: The New Binkley's Restaurant (NBR) has adequate parking and takes reservations. There is no menu on the website so prepare your taste buds for a series of surprises over the at least 3-hours dinner will take in the one 24-person seating on the four days (Thurs-Sun) NBR is open each week. When you make your reservation, your credit card will be charged the non-refundable whether or not you show up prix fixe of $160 per person plus 22% gratuity plus 8+% tax, but you won't have to pay for your $130-190 wine pairings until you do show up and dine. If you make a reservation and don't show up, don't bother thinking about the fallacy of the sunk cost, because it doesn't apply--unless you are comped for some meal elsewhere. If you make a reservation and decide not to keep it, you can transfer it. Should anyone make such a transfer to our Culinary Utopia Department (CUD), we will be delighted to write a blog post review based on actually having eaten there, although we've never lasted three hours for a meal so it might not cover the latter courses and dessert.
