Chrome Update 59

Version 59 of Chrome has some stark differences (e.g., the settings page looks completely different). Many people are having difficulty having it install. If you look at Settings/About and it has a button that says "new version will be installed on relaunch," and you click on the button and Version 58 still appears, here is how to fix it (after backing up your favorites and creating a restore point just to be safe):

Close Chrome
Go to Task Manager/Process and End Task for any process that says Google Chrome
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application and look for chrome and new_chrome
Delete chrome
Rename new_ chrome as chrome
Delete Folder 58xxxxx
Open Chrome and check Settings/About that the fix worked
