When first setting up a Windows 7 computer, you will be prompted to password protect it so that, whenever you boot up, you have to put in the password to get to the desktop. If you are tired of doing that, and would like the computer to immediately go to the desktop, you can remove the password in under 30 seconds. Here is how:
1. Click on Start/Control Panel/User Accounts/User.
2. Click on Remove Password.
3. Enter your password in the next box that comes up.
4. Click on Remove Password.
That's it. All done.
