Just think how horrible everything viz slavery and racism might have turned out if Trump had been president instead of Lincoln. Just think how horrible everything viz the social safety net and the survival of democracy would have turned out if Trump had been president instead of FDR. Just think how horrible everything viz civil rights and voting would have turned out if Trump had been president instead of LBJ. Just think how lucky we are given that Trump is president only during a raging pandemic, a global recession, and a realization that structural and systemic racism still ravages our country.
