The media reporting and commentary often refers to "early studies" when it comes to the Omicron variant. When the word "study" appears, more often than not, there is no study--there are merely anecdotal stories being told. Thus, if the group from which the "study" is based is not large, there is no study. And even if the group is large, if it has a limited demographic (e.g., by age), it is no study except for that age group. By way of example, the "reporting" on Omicron from Africa was based on 30 persons aged 20-35--that is NOT a study of anything.
