Regime Change (Review by Loyal Reader)

Regime Change by Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan is very, very well written, and extraordinarily well researched/reported. Still, substantially all of the book consists of material that has been reported previously (often by the book's authors). The difference is the detail, i.e., if the reader wants more detail (e.g., backgrounds of individuals, what was said at meetings or elsewhere), then the book is solidly for those folks. After reading about a third, I tired of so much detail, and so, I skimmed the rest so I could move on to whatever is next on my list.
