Gmail Smart Reply Function

If you want, Gmail will suggest a terse reply, if it has one, to any email you want to respond to. Sometimes, they are spot on, while sometimes not so much. For example, if you receive an email saying that a particular proposal went over like a Peking Duck flying into a Boeing 747 jet engine, the Google Smart Reply might be, "sounds yummy," which might or might not be appropriate in the circumstances. At one time, "I love you" came up with undue frequency as a suggested reply, but The Google has tweaked the algorithm to tamp this down.To turn on the Google Smart Reply function, click on the Gear in the upper right of Gmail, choose General, scroll down to Smart Reply and click on "Smart reply on."
