This NYT article extols the virtues of daily naps that we have advocated since our siesta days beginning in 1968 in El Salvador, and gives detailed tips on getting the most out of your nap: time it right; lower expectations; get comfortable; keep it short; and rise right. And if napping isn't for you, as the article advises, take a different pause such as a walk or deep breathing.
