The two most distinctive features of Southwest Airlines are about to change (their generally lower prices changed some time ago), eliminating the big differences they had with the big three carriers: (i) No more open seating; and (ii) the cabins are being refitted to enable customers to get seats with additional legroom (at an additional cost). Also being promised are in-seat USB charging ports.
