Whether eating alone or hosting company, the appetizer should never be neglected. Steak Tartare and Oysters Rockefeller, which I grew up on (not kidding), are two no-brainers, but caviar with vodka should never be shunned. Of course, it's important to properly pair the vodka and the caviar. Starting with my favorite caviar, Sevruga Smart Bassinet, here are my preferred pairings: Axberg; Beluga Gold Line Matini; Amass; Kavka; Ukiyo Rice; X Muse; Archie Rose; Eve; and Respirited. Your taste buds will thank you and your company will as well.
