Many things (e.g., wrong or changed settings) might all of a sudden interfere with your network (or any) printer/scanner's connecting to your computer. It gets really weird where you can print and scan from your computer but cannot scan from the touch control on your printer/scanner. We cannot here list all the possible solutions. But here is one simple one: If your firewall is turned on, turn it off and do a scan from the scanner. If that works, you likely can turn the firewall back on and everything will work as it did before it stopped connecting.
