An earlier blog post talked about the Framework Laptop, which "modulates" all the components so you never will have to buy another laptop again no matter what goes wrong with it. One can either order it assembled or assemble it oneself. Assembling it oneself would save about $150 on a $1,000 configuration. However, assembling it oneself does have some issues (especially the downloading and installing of Windows 10) that takes a bit more "work" than most would be comfortable with. In all events, though, we reiterate our endorsement of making your next computer a Framework Laptop. Our only misgiving is the apparent lack of telephone support, although the email support is not too bad, but it's not great.
