The Southwest Gas Equal Payment Plan (EPP) amount is adjusted every 3 months. They don't explain on their bill or otherwise (e.g., the telephone rep doesn't know) how the EPP is determined at any point. If you want to change the amount, you can call and they will change the amount. Getting through to a telephone rep is not easy, but just keep going on the phone tree until you get the option for a call-back. If and when you do get the call-back, the telephone rep will have no idea why you called or why they are calling you back--indeed they will begin the call by apologizing for calling you at random and asking if you have any idea why they called you. Not kidding.
