When Windows 10 came out, many of us rebelled against the new interface (of tiles and start button and such) that had replaced the Windows 7 interface with its convenient lists. Fortunately, with a simple download and a couple of mouse clicks, it was easy to get the Windows 7 interface back and still enjoy all the advantages of Windows 10. I have been pummeled with expressions of worry and even dread that Windows 11, whose interface is radically different from Windows 10, would not allow one to revert to the Windows 7 interface. Good news. It will. And as this article sets out, the process to do so is just the same and just as easy.
