As the Arizona Republic reports, the last leg of the road to Rocky Point (the 60 mile stretch from the border) is undergoing a significant improvement that will make the trip safer and faster. It is to be finished in May 2027. Not quite soon enough for our yearly April trip, but we do not allow the perfect to become the enemy of the good.
