A big winner at the Golden Globes, and as it turns out for good reason, based on just Episode 1 of Season 1, Fleabag looks to be a winner. It is very creatively done, with terrific dialogues, wonderfully idiosyncratic but real characters, great acting, and novelty in both presentation and plot and everything else. The episodes are just one-half hour each which always is a big plus, and we have it on good information that Season 1 is not even the best season. And what's really cool is that the main character talks to the audience with some frequency so you always know what's going on--a truly nice twist. Finally, it is a bit raw in language and some other ways, but tastefully raw so far at least.
