Just when you might have thought that a 24-day around-the-world vacation by private jet could not be had for under $100,000, in steps the National Geographic and the WSJ to make it possible. Okay, it's not your own jet, but instead of 233 seats on a 757, it's just 75 seats with a 2x2 configuration and top hotels. You do have to bear the cost to get to and from Washington where the trip starts and ends, but they throw in a $1,099 Voyager Bag (whatever that is) for free, which should make up for the personal expenses (laundry, telephone, and beverages) not included in the $90,000 (double occupancy) or $99,000 (single occupancy) per person cost.
