1. Not sure why this is happening, perhaps it's due to the email change, but the monthly hits on the blog reached 5,000 for the first time. And that's well above the 3,000 average that had been the monthly norm.
2. After receiving many complaints from a few curmodgeonly loyal readers, who are on our free plan and are too miserly to upgrade to our elite plan, that they cannot read the full newspaper articles cited in the blog posts because they don't subscribe to those newspapers, we have solved the problem at no minor inconvenience to ourselves. After finding the article online, we use the newspaper's link to email it to ourselves, and then open it in our browser from the mail, and then copy and paste the URL. In essence, we consider ourselves the Joe DiMaggio of the blogosphere by making the difficult look easy, and we are too modest to crow about all we do for our loyal readers.
