Close All Apps

[Preliminary Note: Readers know that I, along with most people, prefer Android (with close to 75% market share) to Apple (with under 25% market share), but I try to avoid sharing my bias. The reason I cover more Android and Windows stuff than iPhone and Mac stuff is the result of my using an Android phone and tablet and a Windows computer. I apologize in advance to all iPhone users for the below post because the event discussed bugged me beyond words when it confronted me and so I used this post to find the words]

The iPhone has no way to close all open apps with one button push or swipe. It might vary by Android phone, but one can close all open apps with a swipe up and tap "close all apps" button that appears. If anyone doesn't think this is a big deal shortcoming of the iPhone, they really should try an Android to see what they are missing. And if they were to try an iPhone, they also would see the customization of screen layouts and other things that, along with lower cost, make Androids far more popular.
