I am shocked to learn that some people do not know the difference between Mini LEDs and OLEDs. This RTINGS.com article explains the difference. As to choosing between the two, concludes as follows: As far as dark room performance goes, OLEDs are still the undisputed kings, and this is especially true when you're comparing them with mid-range and budget Mini LEDs. Black levels aren't everything, though, and Mini LEDs still tend to be the best choice for bright room viewing most of the time.
PS re TV Ratings: Many legitimate, unbiased websites do good TV ratings. We have found that RTINGS.com is excellent. The reviews are terse but comprehensive, and clear and informative. The only quibble we have is they cover "game mode" in all their reviews which we could care less about. But if you're a gamer, well, that's another story and a horse of a different color.
