If the Upgrade button in the lower left hand corner of Gmail drives you nuts (as seen in the below left image), as it does me, this Remove the Gmail Upgrade Button Chrome extension will remove it (as not seen in the below right image). If the presence of the Upgrade button doesn't bother you, please promptly seek psychological help.
